Amazon’s new MMO, Throne and Liberty, hit the gaming scene at the beginning of this month, but players have found it more challenging to log in and play than tackling the classic Naxxramas raid. Despite reaching a peak of 300,000 players on launch day, the servers have struggled to handle the influx.
Many users are reporting issues with character creation and server transfers. During the launch phase, players are allowed two free server transfers daily, but being unable to utilize this feature has added to their frustrations. As noted by PCGamesN, Amazon Games has increased the character creation limits on some servers to facilitate access for newcomers and to assist current players with transfers.
The servers experiencing issues include Karnix, Chernobog, Laslan, Kastleton, Magna, Pippin, Xeroth, Amos, Morokai, Benediction, and Whisperion, all based in North America. Maintenance has been conducted throughout the week, and the hope is that these updates will alleviate some of the problems and improve overall server stability for players.
